Welcome to Our Backyard Mini-Farm!

We didn’t start as farmers—we were nurses who saw the effects of poor health daily and wanted to do more.

We set out to become more productive and capable. With basic skills like fishing and building, we admired past generations who thrived through knowledge and resourcefulness.

So, we learned—growing, preserving, and seed-saving—to rebuild lost skills and become more self-sufficient.

For Amber, flowers became more than beauty; many are food and medicine. Discovering this deepened her commitment, especially seeing how many had lost confidence in nature’s gifts.

Now, we focus on growing organically and sharing knowledge, helping others reconnect with skills that bring joy, resilience, and abundance. See you in the garden!
